I can almost remember the first time I fell in love with the sounds of 90's techno. Although I loved all types of music I knew edm was it for me. With tracks like Dominator and Sesame's Treet filling my soul I knew one day I wanted to make people feel what I felt through music.. I started in the edm scene as part of a party crew in the 90's. In the mid 90's I started to practice my mixing at a friends house on the weekends. That went on and off for awhile until I eventually bought a small set up for myself. After that it was nothin but practice in my free time. Progress was slow because I learned on my own, but there was progress. I decided early that I wanted to rock parties and pass on the euphoric vibes that I felt from the music I loved.

Although my main focus is on edm, I learned to play all genres of music well. From hip hop to house I honed my skills as I did mobile dj gigs for years. Learning to read crowds and keep the party going in the process. Eventually I burned out on the mobile scene and was looking for something more to my liking. Unfortunately, I was sidelined for several years due to an illness. I was in and out of the hospital for a long time. I still loved music , but I didn't have the time or energy to mix as often as I wanted to.

In late 2007 I started feeling better and I learned about the TenMinMix on youtube. Although I still get the ocassional transfusion and chemo treatment, at least I found my passion for mixing again. It was great to be able to record my mixes and share them with the world. From there everything has had a snowball effect. My friend (Steelo) and I started a show (The AbstractSteelo Show) to help spread the love of edm through out the states. One of the spins off from doing the show was an online site to have djs from all over spin there style of edm. That channel is called Club Groove. Recently I started a mixshow (Electric Avenue) for an online radio station (Audio Elemental Radio) where I play many styles edm. Playing clubs and doing gigs is still my thing. Who knows where this will all lead. All I now is that i'm having fun getting there.
